A thriving university town, there’s lots going on here as well as a larger choice of shops, restaurants, cultural attractions, plus a renowned health care centre and a TGV station. Poitiers-Biard airport has direct flights to both the UK and Scotland.
La Rochelle, the Ile de Ré and the west coast are ideal destinations for day trips.
