There is a small market 6km from the house and a relatively new Intermarche 10km from the house. 





The town of Decazeville is 15km away and this has a good selection of services, shops restaurants etc.

Although only a couple of hours' drive north of metropolitan Toulouse and Montpellier, it is sparsely populated and seemingly impervious to change, a land of secret valleys, wild pastures and craggy peaks. Aveyron has more official Les Plus Beaux Villages (the Most Beautiful Villages in France) than any other region.
